This is not the kind of book I usually choose to listen to, because I try not to cringe and close my eyes while I'm driving. But it was excellent. The reader does a really great job with the voices - Jack's and Seth's. Andrew Smith is a pretty incredible writer, but I have hard time saying that I "like" his books. What's to like about kidnapping, rape, and a descent into madness (is it real? I still don't know.)? This is the kind of book you feel like you have to talk to someone about, so I gave it to my dad to listen to too. I told him that it would stick with him the same way In the Path of Falling Objects did.
