When I started this book I thought it would be the last in the series because of the "Last" in the title, but after finishing it it's clear that it's not. And good thing. I don't remember liking the first two books in the series as much as I liked this one. I love where Kim Derting is taking this series - how Violet has gone official, working with a team of paranormal crime fighters. It's awesome! And the chemistry with Rafe. Rrar! I barely remembered him from the last book (it's been a while...) I also dug the cliff-hangery ending; shit's getting real. The Body Finder series reminds me of the Gallagher Girls in that it started kind of lighter (as light as spying and stuff can get) and gets more serious and conspiracy-y.
Because this series just keeps getting better, I'm going to stick with that new one she started too, even though I was disappointed in The Pledge.
