The audio production was quite lovely. Aristotle is a wonderfully flawed character. I love characters that push me away (here's to you Isabel Spellman and Jasper Dent), and Aristotle is another one. One of things with this book is that you can take a little piece of it, and that piece is okay, but it's not until you're done that everything comes together to show what a jewel it is. It reminded me a lot of Andrew Smith's writing in this way. It's like a whole album instead of a collection of singles. Anyway, it certainly deserved its little pile of awards.
I have to admit that I spent a lot of time listening to this thinking, "for a book that won the Stonewall, it's not very gay." But it gets gayer. :)
